Elder Randolph D. Scott

Randolph D. Scott Sr., Pastor of Hightower Memorial Temple, is an anointed, gifted and powerful preacher of the gospel. His special area of ministerial interests include, but are not limited to, revivals, soul winning, street witnessing, marital counseling, community assistance, ministry classes and pulpit development. A native of Orlando, Florida, Elder Scott has to his credit numerous preaching engagements all over the country. His training began at New Jerusalem Holiness Church, House of God Saints in Christ, Inc. under the leadership of the late Elder Leroy Cannady, which gave him a solid foundation in his early years. He was licensed and ordained as a minister also at New Jerusalem HOGSIC. He attended Valencia Community College and furthered his studies of divinity at the International Seminary Bible College. After several years of faithful service at New Jerusalem, God gave Elder Scott the vision to establish Greater Rock Christian Fellowship Ministries, Inc., where he presided as Founder and Pastor. A few years later, Elder Scott became the District Elder of Florida's District II of the House of God Saints in Christ organization, which consisted of presiding over six local churches. In April 2003, Bishop Lorenzo Moore, Presiding Prelate of the House of God Saints in Christ, Inc. appointed Pastor Scott as full time Pastor of Hightower Memorial Temple. Elder Scott was blessed to resign from his job and serve in full-time capacity as the leader and pastor of Greater Rock C.F.M., Inc. He is the proud husband of Sister Tina Scott, and God blessed them with three children: Randolph Jr., Alexis, and Garrett Scott; and three grandchildren: Camilla, Madison and Gerren. One son Randolph Jr., preceded them in death. His favorite scripture is Luke 19:10 - "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which is lost." Elder Scott believes in faithfulness, commitment and minding his own business... and that is preaching the gospel. He has a heart for backsliders and sinners and doesn't mind giving you the truth that will set you free. He also believes that prayer is powerful, and with a praying church the world will be turned upside down. His mission here in Douglas as he so often says is to “Take The City”. That is to help rid the city of drugs and crime, SIN in general.
